The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Practice Manager to join the dynamic healthcare team at Kronos Health, PLLC and lead the operations of our Primary Care and Community Geriatrics Practices as part of our high quality, value-based practice. What You’ll Do:
The Practice Manager’s responsibilities include:
Administrative oversight:
Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and front desk activities.
Creation and management of clinicians’ EMR templates.
Develop and manage staff schedules ensuring adequate coverage.
Support medical billing, insurance protocols and prior authorizations.
Monitor and maintain the inventory for medications, office supplies and medical equipment.
Staff Supervision and Development:
Recruit, train and supervise administrative and clinical staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
Coordinate regular staff meetings and provide meeting summaries.
Patient Care Coordination:
Facilitate seamless patient care processes, from appointment scheduling to follow-up care.
Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Technology and Facility Management:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of healthcare technology systems.
Coordinate facility maintenance and ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Supervise daily practice operations such as security and occupational health and safety.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Collaborate with clinical teams on population health approaches to improving health outcomes utilizing practice resources and dashboards.
Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes that incorporate reducing disparities in health outcomes.
Promote health equity through strategies within the practice to ensure that all patients, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, or other factors, have access to high-quality, equitable care.
Provide training and educational resources to staff on health equity, cultural competence, and the social determinants of health.
Promote a patient-centered approach that respects and responds to individual patient preferences, needs and values.
Developing and implementing office policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with quality program reporting, healthcare regulations, organizational policies, regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Strategic Planning and Communication:
Collaborate with Clinicians to develop and implement strategic initiatives and patient services.
Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field
2-3 years’ experience as a practice manager and managing more than 10 employees
Preferred:
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Master’s degree
Human resources experience
Familiarity with AthenaOne EMR
Ideal
Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM®)
Experience in healthcare quality improvement models, such as Lean
